APR turbocharger inlet systems are designed to outflow the factory components. These inlet systems use a 4 in. carbon fiber inlet tube that connects directly to the factory air box. These kits also include a cast aluminum inlet, which is designed to retain the largest possible cross-sectional area within the pipe all the way to the inlet of the turbocharger's compressor cover. APR turbo inlet pipe conversions include a full back tube and turbo inlet adapter to convert the GTI/A3 style system to one designed for the Continental turbocharger. The tubes feature a larger turbo inlet pipe at the turbo end, and a DV recirculation port for the throttle mounted diverter valve. These APR pipes can be used when upgrading to the Continental turbo, other hybrid, or direct replacement turbocharger systems that require a larger turbo inlet and a DV recirculation on the hose.
