Aeromotive VaporWorx Intelligent Power Centers provide modern safety for your classic vehicle. Not available with traditional relay on/off controls, VaporWorx Intelligent Controllers deliver up to 25 amps per channel of 12 DC negative ground power. They can be used in new installations or to replace an installed traditional relay, and they are ideal for carburetor-equipped vehicles with electric fuel pumps and intercooler pumps. VaporWorx IPCs are offered with single channel, dual channel, or dual channel with map sensor. Select the one needed for your vehicle. Features and benefits: * XLPE wire and sealed connector -- 15 in. of wire for each signal circuit -- Pre-wired into a genuine Delphi sealed GT280 connector -- Wire braid is also included -- 6 ft. of white 12-gauge wire included for the pump--circuit * Assembled with UL94 rated components * Pre-terminated heavy-gauge ground input wiring -- Controller switches the ground input to the pump * Very conservative power rating -- Power rating limited by the GT280 plug assembly, not the electronics -- The electronics can support 36 amps with an option for higher power, if needed * Output short circuit protection -- If pump or wiring downstream of the controller shorts, the IPC will shut down the output power * A 3-second prime cycle at initial key-on -- No longer will the pump continue to run when the engine is not running * Accident safety: Output power de-energizing when the engine tachometer signal goes to zero (engine not running). In case of an accident and the engine shuts off, the controller will shut down the pump, keeping fuel from pumping uncontrolled in case of a pressure line breakage * Manual override to allow tuning (adjust float bowl level, etc.) with ignition on/engine off * Manual override for intercooler pumps with the key-off/engine off (modified wiring connections)--great feature to cool down air-to-water intercooler systems between mile runs * Dual channel IPCs: -- Connecting to the supplied 3bar MAP sensor will turn the second output/pump on at approximately 4 psi ATM boost * Dual channel IPC with MAP sensor: -- Supplied with a 3bar MAP sensor and MAP sensor mounting bracket
