Stillen offers a wide range of performance parts, including the Trupower air intake scoops for a variety of vehicle makes and models. The factory air intake system on various Chevrolet Silverado/GMC Sierra vehicles is a very unique and creative design. There is no natural path for the air to flow through. The air must travel up the face of the radiator in order to make its way into the air intake opening. Keep in mind the radiators operational temperature is 180-220 degrees—significantly higher than ambient. To solve the issues with this otherwise, fantastic design the team at Stillen created a proper scoop—the Trupower, which lowers the base of the radiator shroud to be in line with the top bar of the vehicle's grille. This design allows for air to come directly into the intake system without being warmed by the radiator or disrupted by lattice type material in the radiator shroud, which eliminates the pre-heating and turbulence caused by the factory system. E85 offers many benefits to performance enthusiasts and racers with its 105-octane rating, cooler engine temperatures, and cleaner emissions. The variations from pump to pump for street driving are negligible, but to the racer, even a small percentage change of ethanol can determine the outcome of a race if nothing is done to compensate for it. Consistency is especially important in bracket racing, where a win can be determined by thousandths of a second. E85 fuel is said to contain 85 percent ethanol and 15 percent gasoline, but the fuel mixture can vary anywhere from a low of 70 percent all the way up to 85 percent ethanol, depending on the place of refinement and the season of purchase. These Quick Fuel E85 fuel testers will let you know exactly what you are pouring into your tank. They are designed to help you calibrate your air/fuel mixture. Using the testers takes only a few moments and they are simple to use. First, you add water up to the first line on the Quick Fuel E85 fuel testers, and then pour in the E85 sample up to the second line. The ethanol absorbs the water and the gasoline floats on top, revealing a definitive boundary. This boundary will lie in the graduated area of the testers, giving you the percentage of ethanol in the E85 fuel. They come with a durable carrying case to keep them safe in any toolbox.

When it comes to converting to EFI, it's important for the fuel pump to be installed in a cool area and what better place than in the gas tank itself. The pump is cooled by the fuel, it's quieter plus there's no chance of fuel starvation. To help ease the installation of an in-tank pump, we offer a new Go Fuel In-Tank Module assembly. This universal billet assembly can be used on tanks with a depth of 6 to 15 inches. The billet aluminum was designed with the supply and return ports in a parallel position to help route the fuel lines easily and evenly. The vent port is on the other side to ease routing the line near the fill tube. The two fuel ports are threaded to accept -6 AN O-ring boss fittings for a secure, leak-free connection. The cut-to-fit bracket secures a 340 LPH pump capable of providing fuel to 600 horsepower engines. To ensure clean fuel is pulled into the pump, two size of sock/filters are provided, a standard 11 square-inch design as well as a large, 35 square-inch version.
