COBB Tuning SF Intake systems remove a pre-turbo restriction in the stock intake system. They provide great power gains when combined with custom mapping on your Accessport tuner. To maintain optimal air flow, SF Intake systems utilize several unique features such as a custom conical cloth air-filter element and a computational fluid dynamics (CFD)-designed velocity stack. Tuned or stock, with the addition of a SF Intake system turbocharger induction noise and bypass valve venting sounds are much more audible. COBB Tuning SF Intakes were designed to be easy to install without having to modify your car. Installation requires no cutting or trimming of any components and can be completed with simple hand tools. Simply remove the stock air box and bolt the SF intake into place in just minutes. COBB Tuning intercooler hard pipes allow the use of the factory or COBB intercooler core, while cleaning up the engine bay and freeing up airflow to the engine. These hard pipes make great replacements for factory plastic tubing, removing restrictions and improving airflow to the engine. The single-piece hard pipes are formed from mandrel-bent aluminum tubing for fitment on both the cold side and hot side of the intercooler. The results are weld-free pipes from the turbo outlet to intercooler inlet, and from the intercooler outlet to the throttle body. Silicone hose couplings and T-bolt hose clamps are available (depending on application) to facilitate installation. Order the kit designed for your specific vehicle application.
