Wilson Manifolds V-band base throttle bodies are machined from billet 6061-T6 aluminum on precision CNC machining centers for consistent quality and lighter weight. They're developed using the latest computer modeling software and test equipment to create a design that yields maximum flow for maximum power. Wilson V-band throttle bodies feature brass throttle blades to control vibration and reduce thermal expansion. They are fastened to the throttle shaft using aircraft-quality hardware that has had Loctite applied and has been peened to ensure a positive retention of the blades. Fuel rail kits are provided and have mounting for both long and short type fuel injectors. These manifolds offer the performance potential and the appearance of professionally prepared billet and fabricated racing intake manifolds at the affordable price of a cast-aluminum product. They deliver 21st century performance for the iconic small-block Chevy engine. * Model 300-950 is of standard Hi-Ram configuration with a "top-feed" plenum and a plenum top designed to accept up to an 105mm Gen IV LS 4-bolt throttle body, including drive-by-wire throttle bodies. * Model 300-951 is a hood-height friendly Hi-Ram variation which has a "front-feed" plenum and a forward-facing throttle body flange which accepts an up to 95mm LS 4-bolt throttle body, also, including DBW throttle bodies. Edelbrock Performer RPM Air-Gap intake manifolds incorporate race-winning technology that's been used on Victor Series competition intakes for years. The open air space from the Air-Gap design separates the runners from the heat of the lifter-valley cover. So, the air/fuel mixture stays cooler all the way to the heads, which produces a denser charge for more power. Runners are tuned to move the power band 1,000 rpm higher than Performer Air-Gap manifolds, from idle to 5,500 rpm up to 1,500 to 6,500 rpm.
