Many performance vehicles manufactured between 1991 and 2006 came from the factory with side-feed injectors. The benefit of the modern top-feed injectors is that they are easier to tune, less expensive, and flow more fuel than side-feed alternatives. These vehicle-specific fuel rails are sold in pairs.
