Holley LS split design carbureted intake manifolds are single-plane racing units designed with performance in mind. They feature a race-bred, 2-piece split feature that was previously only found on the most expensive race intakes. The manifolds will fit GM LS Gen III engines with cathedral port heads—and are intended for 4150-style square bore flanged carburetors or throttle body EFI. The LS Race single-plane intake manifold was designed for high performance/racing engine applications, 5.3 to 6.2+ liter displacement—and maximum engine speeds of 6,000 to 7,000 rpm, depending on the engine combination. This single-plane design provides optimal performance across the rpm spectrum, while providing maximum performance up to 7,000 rpm. Features include: * Maximum performance race design with hood clearance consideration * Lighter than other split race intakes * Split feature allows disassembly of the intake for direct access to internal plenum and port surfaces, making custom porting and matching a snap * Shoulder bolt locators and O-ring seal make reassembly simple and precise * 33 to 50 percent the price of other split race intakes * Vacuum port options: Two 1/8 in., one 1/4 in., and one 3/8 in. Bolt a carburetor onto your LS engine using Holley LS mid-rise carbureted intake manifolds. These intake manifolds work on all GM LS, Gen III, or Gen IV engines equipped with rectangular or cathedral port cylinder heads. Available in a single or dual plane design, these manifolds use an O-ring cylinder head mounting flange to provide an OEM seal and make installation a snap. Offenhauser Dual Port intake manifolds feature completely separate runner systems for the primaries and secondaries for more power across the rpm range. At low-load, the primaries feed the air/fuel charge through the smaller bottom passages at near sonic speed, improving power and efficiency. When the secondaries open, their charge goes through the bigger, cooler upper passages. Then, in turn, it is rammed into the cylinders when it encounters the high-velocity mix from the primaries. These durable Holley hi-ram manifolds feature 3mm (1/8 in.) thick T-6061 sheet aluminum construction with 100 percent TIG welds.
