The unique BladeRunner end tanks are constructed out of 3/16 in. aluminum plates that incorporate seven Multi-Directional Vanes (MDV) throughout the intercooler. This aFe technology is used to direct hot air flow through the entire intercooler core, which allows for greater cooling. aFe BladeRunner GT Series intercoolers are100 percent TIG-welded by certified craftsmen for race-quality strength and durability. Vortech Maxflow Aftercooler systems are the aftermarket's first street/strip, air-to-water charge cooler systems. They utilize closed-loop water circulation and a front-mounted heat exchanger that allows for effective street operation.
