Pacific Performance Engineering GM 3.0L Duramax air-to-water intercooler kits add style and performance to your Duramax. The intercooler is 77 percent less restrictive than the stock GM model, featuring flow-optimized, cast aluminum end tanks and a 2.4 times larger, less restrictive core structure. These features along with their all-aluminum bar and plate-style construction and superior fin layout, PPE intercoolers deliver increased cooling with a cooler and denser charge air that also helps reduce exhaust gas temperature (EGTs), increases fuel efficiency, and lowers the pressure drop. Spectra Premium Charge Air Coolers

Maintain your engine's heat transfer with a Spectra Premium charge air cooler. They feature all-aluminum construction and are assembled from component tubes, fins, and internal fins. The intercoolers are then vacuum-brazed together, forming a single-piece core. The resulting structure is tremendously strong due to the reinforcement provided by external and internal fins. After the charge air coolers are assembled and brazed, the end tanks (or manifolds) are welded onto the core. aFe BladeRunner GT Series Intercoolers

aFe BladeRunner GT Series intercoolers feature a bar and plate core design that outflows stock intercoolers by increasing heat dissipation over the much smaller tube and fin design used by the OEM. The unique BladeRunner end tanks are constructed out of 3/16 in. aluminum plates that incorporate seven Multi-Directional Vanes (MDV) throughout the intercooler.
