Space can be at a premium in some engine compartments. Nitrous Express Piranha nozzle nitrous systems are designed to deal with that problem and still give you big-time power increases. They're built around NX's compact, yet highly effective Piranha nozzles and can deliver from 100 to 250 extra horsepower for 4-cylinder engines (including the air-cooled Volkswagen). For sixes, the power jumps range from 150 to 375 horses, and V8s can get boosts of 200 to 550, or even 600 hp. The kits come with nozzles, delivery lines and fittings, jets, solenoids, wiring, switches, and mounting hardware.

NOS has taken care of that with their Sport Compact nitrous-oxide systems. They can turn your mild-mannered ride into a fire-breather with a quick shot of 40-75 extra horsepower, with a dry system, or an even wilder 50-150 extra ponies with a wet system. The latter types are especially helpful to supercharged and turbocharged engines, which generate heavy doses of unwanted heat in the intake system. Kits come complete with the mounting brackets, nozzle, stainless-braided hose, fittings, jets, wiring, switches, and mounting hardware. Available with and without nitrous bottles.
