TCI Competition Torque Converters

TCI Competition torque converters are proven race winners and an excellent choice for stock and Super Stock cars. They work well with both big and small blocks, producing power between 4,500 and 7,000 rpm. FTI Performance SST Series Torque Converters

FTI Performance SST Series custom-order torque converters are available for use with a variety of transmissions, including Powerglide, THM350, and THM400. The 9 in. units are used by top drag racers. A torque converter is what transmits torque from the engine to a rotating driven load. It's a type of fluid coupling which allows the engine to spin somewhat independently of the transmission. SST Series torque converters are available with a 0-blade stator for a turbo spline, or the looser 6T stator model.
