Moser Engineering Drag Brake Kits
Moser Engineering drag brake kits deliver a new standard for safety and performance in Pro Drag disc brake kits. With over 4 years of R&D and track testing to assure reliability and performance, these drag brake kits instill confidence like no other. Beginning with the caliper, Moser Engineering designed a competition race series 4-piston aluminum anodized forged billet caliper made of 6061 T-6 billet aluminum instead of a cheaper cast caliper. The anodized finish helps eliminate corrosion and preventable wear. A dual pin is used for pad retention and O-rings are used to eliminate pad chatter. Stainless steel pistons and PTFE coated one-piece bleeder screws are included in the design with dual crossover ports for quicker fluid release on the outboard pistons. Another Moser feature is the caliper and rotor design that allow for 25 percent more pad contact area than other calipers and allow for a 20 percent thicker pad than most of the competition. Kits ship with industry leading Hawk HP PLUS pads that lean on their years of expertise in racing brake pad design and compounds. For the revolutionary rotor/hat design Moser designed a 2-piece keyed, slotted, and drilled rotor combined with a hat that utilizes a spiral retaining ring to help allow more radial growth during high-temperature cycles, helping to reduce the sticking, warping, and beveling that occurs under heavy braking. Holley EFI Terminator X Active Speed Management Software
Getting a high-powered drag car to hook is the key to low elapsed times and win lights. Whether a small tire radial car or a full out Pro-Mod, all racecars will benefit from Holley's Time-Based Traction Management feature. Designed for Terminator X V3 Build 110 and later, the Time-Based Traction Management is intended for drag racing, standing mile events, or other racing that starts from a stop. Traction management is based on the time from launch vs. engine and driveshaft speed (one or both can be used). The tuner enters several curves that will retard ignition timing and can also enable rev limiting based on the departure of wheel or engine speed from the base curve. Each Holley EFI Terminator X Active Speed management software purchase allows activation of the traction management features for a single ECU. Once purchased, instructions will be emailed to the purchaser on how to access the feature. Please note that it may take up to an hour for the email to arrive after the order has been placed.
