But peak horsepower and torque numbers don't tell the whole story. "Under the curve" power is significantly enhanced delivering near instantaneous boost and torque upon demand that really pins you back in your seat. Inside of the supercharger manifold, a large liquid-to-air intercooler keeps your Intake Air Temperatures in check and provides consistent and repeatable performance. Combine that with the front-mounted heat exchanger, electric water pump, and intercooler coolant reservoir and you have a supercharger system with IATs that are typically only 20-40 degrees Fahrenheit over the ambient temperature. Maximizing your efficiency during cruising is the job of the supercharger's integrated bypass valve. This vacuum operated system allows air to bypass the supercharger and the rotors to "free spin" under light engine loads. During this situation the parasitic loss of the supercharger system is essentially negated, taking less than one-third of a horsepower to turn the rotors. This bypass valve also allows your supercharged vehicle to maintain stock-like derivability and fuel economy - giving you a package that delivers power without compromise.

EMAX Industrial Plus Silent Air piston compressors are quiet. The most common complaints about compressors are their high noise levels. EMAX Silent Air units not only still the noise, but they also do it with a big cfm output and lower rpm. Featuring their Whisper 100 system installed on the back of the tanks, stationary compressor dB ratings are reduced by as much as 25 percent. The Whisper dissipates compressor intake noise by channeling intake air through a series of baffle plates and prefilter media inside the silencer cabinet. Piston intake noise is trapped and dissipated within the silencer structure; plus, it also provides secondary filtration for cleaner air. Industrial Plus Silent Air piston compressors are designed for up to 50,000 hours of commercial or industrial use with proper maintenance. At the core of these extremely durable compressors are super-quiet pumps featuring cast iron crankcases, precision-balanced cast iron crankshafts, and high-quality stainless steel roller bearings to ensure smooth, efficient operation. For long life and rebuildability, EMAX adds steel connecting rods with replaceable rod bearing inserts, removable cast iron cylinders and cylinder heads, disc intake and exhaust valves, and cast iron flywheels with a built-in fan. These bigger low-rpm pumps have a larger bore and stroke, so you get big cfm output with reduced friction and heat buildup. All EMAX Industrial Plus compressors have low-rpm motors (1,750 rpm). Because of their higher torque factor, compared to the 3,450 rpm motors most manufacturers use, they run much cooler. They also yield low harmonic distortion, provide much higher torque in cold weather starting, and require less electricity to start. Other features include big 1 3/8 in. output shafts, large starting and running capacitors, and dynamically balanced armatures. Their 15 Service Factor means the motors can be pulled 15 percent over full load. Depending on the application, many Silent Air piston compressors feature totally enclosed, fan-cooled (TEFC) motors that keep harmful dust and particulates out of the motor. This allows them to be used in dusty commercial and industrial environments without worrying about maintenance. They have 100 percent copper windings with pre-wired magnetic starters (necessary on any motor over 15 amps). These are high-quality, name brand, premium efficiency motors that meet all UL and CSA requirements. Some lower horsepower models are equipped with name brand, open-drip (OPD) motors. The running and starting windings on these motors are all 100 percent copper-wound for premium efficiency, reliable performance, and durability. These units also meet all UL and CSA requirements and include pre-wired Condor combination starter and pressure switches with actuation-type diaphragms. Moser Engineering M9 Fabricated 9 in. Housing and Axle Packages

Engineered to race tolerances, these Moser M9 fabricated 9 in. housing and axle packages allow you to build your axle package with various custom selections and specifically for your application. They are built race-tough with seamless steel tubing, new brackets, new housing ends, new bushings, custom alloy axles, studs, and heavy-duty retainer plates. The Moser housings are made from 1/8 in. laser-cut mild steel and are combined with a 3/8 in. face plate. They come standard with internal gussets and bulk heads, able to take on a tough day at the track. These M9s also have custom-machined fill and drain bungs for easy maintenance.
