Wilwood Forged Dynalite Rear Drag Brake Kits
Having disc brakes up front is a great idea and Wilwood Dynalite rear drag kits make it possible to have them in the rear, too. They're built around Wilwood's forged billet 4-piston calipers, lightweight alloy-steel rotors with machined aluminum mounting hats, and Smart Pad brake pads. Wilwood SRP Drilled Performance Brake Rotors
For custom, show, and high performance sport driving, SRP rotors offer the high-tech look and improved performance of a directional cross-drill and face slot pattern. The venting and cleaning action of the holes and slots reduce pad glaze, disperse gasses, and decrease heat generated at the pad-to-rotor interface. The holes and slots also inhibit irregular pad compound buildup on the rotor faces, resulting in smoother engagement and improved pedal response in all conditions. The material removed also contributes to lower rotating and unsprung weight. Each rotor is precision-machined to less than .001 in. tolerances for overall flatness, parallelism, and radial run-out on long-grain carbon-iron castings. The rotors are finished with a black electro coat or silver zinc wash finish to provide corrosion resistance. Wilwood Big Brake Dynamic Lug Drive Hats
Wilwood's Big Brake Dynamic Lug Drive hats incorporate a new rotor mounting system that eliminates the rotor bolts and allows the rotors to move independently of the hats as they expand and contract through heat cycles. All thermally generated stress is removed from the rotor attachment points, therefore, the rotors stay flatter and run truer. Spring-loaded, replaceable stainless steel inserts in each lug-drive slot protect the aluminum hat from wear that would otherwise be caused by loading of the stainless steel rotor against the hat when brake torque is applied. A large, single snap-ring retains the rotor in the hat, making assembly and installation literally a snap. There's no longer a need to torque or safety wire rotor mounting bolts. These lightweight stainless alloy discs are additionally drilled, removing unnecessary rotating weight from driveline.
