Still trying to hold on to the screw to get it start? Wera has a better idea. Wera Tools screw grippers hold all screw profiles and sizes securely on your tool. Made from stable elastomer materials, these innovative accessories are available in different styles to work with screwdriver blades, long bits, and L-keys, as well as round and hexagonal blades with a diameter of 4.5mm to 6.0mm. Easy to use, simply push the screw gripper on to the tip of your screwdriver (tool) until the end of the blade protrudes, attach the screw, pull gripper up the blade towards the handle until the gripper arms sit against head of screw. Wera screw gripper releases the screw automatically after it has been fastened. As the arms are pushed against the work surface, they spread apart and then snapback when screw is countersunk.
