Subframe connectors essentially tie the front and rear steel subframes together, resulting in a stiffened and strengthened chassis, allowing for better weight transfer and improved traction when launching. When strength is a concern, square tubing has greater torsion resistance over tubular designs. They will work with all aftermarket exhaust systems and will not affect ground clearance. UMI Performance coilover conversion brackets are used to provide a double shear upper attachment point for a true 2 1/2 in. racing coilover shock and spring. Most applications will use an industry standard 7 in. stroke double rod end shock and 12 in. x 2 1/2 in. diameter coilover spring. The bracket bolts to the upper A-arm mount in order to properly locate the unit for welding. Prototyping was completed using Afco Pro-Tour Elite shocks; your brand may require additional modification. Heavy fabrication is required, as the 4054 kit is intended for use on high-end, high performance Pro-Touring builds. Order the conversion brackets recommended for your vehicle.

UMI Performance bolt-in Viking rear coilover kits allow full ride height, spring rate, and damping adjustability. The double shear upper mount is a direct bolt-in and holds a true 2.5 in. diameter coilover spring. The FEA designed lower bracket bolts in using the standard shock mounting hole as well as an additional reinforcement hole. Drilling one 3/8 in. hole per side is required to complete installation. The coilover kits utilize Viking shocks that are 19-way adjustable in both compression and rebound to ensure the perfect setting for every application. Viking shocks are fully rebuildable. The 2.5 in. diameter coilover springs are available in 14 in. long, 110 lb. spring rate for drag use; 14 in. long, 125 lb. spring rate for street use; and 12 in. long, 150 lb. spring rate for autocross and road race applications.
