UMI Performance complete front-end kits offer improved handling and great value. These non-adjustable upper and lower A-arm kits not only save you dollars, but weight on your front-end, while adding strength, better ride quality, and reduced bushing deflection. Built from strong DOM tubing, the fully assembled and ready-to-install A-arms have CNC-machined upper and lower ball joint holders and 4140 chromoly cross shafts. UMI upper A-arms feature greaseable Delrin® bushings, and the lower A-arms are supplied with new lower ball joints installed, polyurethane bushings, and sway bar mounting provisions. These UMI kits are designed to work with factory springs and lowering springs mounted in the factory location. The A-arms are given a durable and brilliant powdercoat finish. UMI Performance 1993-2002 GM F-Body 3-pt. subframe connectors and torque arm kits provide an easy bolt-on drag race solution for GM F-bodies. These suspension connectors reinforce the chassis and prevent quarter-panel wrinkling from hard launches; a tunnel-mounted torque arm is the proven solution to reduce 60 ft. times. Shortened torque arm improves instant center location; as a result, forward traction is improved. These kits include removable and replaceable NHRA-approved driveshaft loop. Using both parts together dramatically reduces chassis flex. UMI Performance 1993-2002 GM F-Body Road Race front upper/lower A-arm kits come with boxed lower and adjustable upper A-arms, providing a rock-solid foundation for your autocross, road race, or corner carving 4th Gen. The lower A-arms feature fully gusseted box tubing construction, and while appearing heavy-duty, afford a 5 lb. weight savings per set over factory lower A-arms. They have factory GM pedestal location and are compatible with factory, Koni, and other T-bar, stock mount shocks. Upper arms feature caster and camber adjustment with premium rod ends. Laser-cut ball joint pads feature improved ball joint angle and increased caster (up to additional 2 degrees--varies by chassis) for lowered cars and come assembled with premium ball joints. UMI Performance front A-arms are built using strong DOM steel tubing, 0.188 in. CNC-machined shock mounts, Moog Problem Solver greasable ball joints, and QA1 XM Endura series rod ends. A-arms can be installed on the stock K-member or any aftermarket K-member. They are designed to reduce front-end weight, as well as "unsprung" weight, providing improved handling performance to the front of your vehicle. UMI Performance Competition coilover kits are built and proven to perform. Developed in cooperation with Sam Strano, the 14-time national SCCA autocross champion, these packages feature an AFCO-built aluminum body, plus monotube dampers with Strano-tuned valving that offers race-winning performance, while still providing an awesome street ride. They are rebound-adjustable, with a 40-position digressive rebound curve designed for competition body and weight transfer control. UMI Competiton coilover kits are available in front, rear, or complete (front and rear) packages. The kits include coilover shocks, springs with proper rates, fabricated bolt-in mounting brackets, hardware, and thrust bearings for each shock. UMI Performance 1993-2002 GM F-Body Drag Front Upper/Lower A-Arm Kits
UMI Performance offers drag specific front upper/lower A-arm kits for 1993-2002 GM F-body models that are designed to shave weight, reduce friction, and still provide plenty of strength. On the upper arms, UMI's industry leading high clearance geometry tucks into the wheel well—just like stock to afford maximum suspension travel when dropping from a wheel stand. Strong CrMo tube construction and a streamlined ball joint plate combined with high-strength aluminum racing rod ends save one half pound per side over the stamped stock arms. The lowers feature CrMo construction and UMI's newly redesigned tube configuration ensures performance and safety, whether you're landing a wheel stand or powering through the traps at 160+. They accept most major brands of racing coilovers with the 1/2 in. x 1 1/4 in. wide mount. There are provisions for a travel limiting chain and also an optional sway bar tab for light street use. These arms save 5 1/2 lbs. per side, come assembled with premium ball joints, race quality rod ends and are ready to bolt on.
