UMI Performance Competition Front End Kits
Tremendous front grip and a host of features can be yours with UMI Performance Competition front-end kits. The included A-arm kit enables 10 degrees caster while maintaining standard track width and wheelbase. Lower A-arms are assembled with tall lower ball joints to optimize roll center, camber gain, and center of gravity. Lower A-arms feature Delrin bushings for smooth travel and bind-free performance. The new lower A-arm works in conjunction with the included adjustable upper arm—which features minimum shim adjustability, Pro Forged ball joints, and super-smooth PTFE lined rod ends. The front sway bar attaches using UMI's swivel-style end link design and double shear mounting system. The included Viking Crusader coilover shocks mount to the lower A-arm in double shear quick-change brackets. The lower shock mount is removable to allow spring and shock changes at the track. UMI's kit features Viking Crusader shocks with AT pro-touring valving (high rebound tie-down for road race and autocross) and a true 2.5 in. racing coilover. The upper stud mount fits in the factory location, while the lower is optimized to fit UMI's 3057-1 coilover lower A-arm. Some grinding is required for installation in the upper frame spring bucket. Other spring rates and valve codes are available. The Competition kits have been battle-tested on the iconic UMI Green Machine. Kits are available in red or black powdercoat; and are 100 percent designed, manufactured, and raced with pride in the USA.

UMI Performance Competition Coilover Kits
UMI Performance Competition coilover kits are built and proven to perform. Developed in cooperation with Sam Strano, the 14-time national SCCA autocross champion, these packages feature an AFCO-built aluminum body, plus monotube dampers with Strano-tuned valving that offers race-winning performance, while still providing an awesome street ride. They are rebound-adjustable, with a 40-position digressive rebound curve designed for competition body and weight transfer control. UMI Competiton coilover kits are available in front, rear, or complete (front and rear) packages. The kits include coilover shocks, springs with proper rates, fabricated bolt-in mounting brackets, hardware, and thrust bearings for each shock. UMI Performance Competition coilover kits feature: * UMI/Strano specific competition valving * Front upper fabricated shock mount removes rust-prone GM rubber shock mount * Front shocks assembled with progressive rate bump stops * Double bearing shocks for crisp response, zero deflection, and high reliability * 125 psi monotube provides quick reaction and fade-free performance * Medium-firm fixed compression * Balanced for use with UMI or Strano 35mm/22mm sway bars * Ride height adjustment range from stock to 2 1/2 in. lowering
