UMI Performance Bolt-In Viking Rear Coilover Kits
UMI Performance bolt-in Viking rear coilover kits allow full ride height, spring rate, and damping adjustability. The double shear upper mount is a direct bolt-in and holds a true 2.5 in. diameter coilover spring. The FEA designed lower bracket bolts in using the standard shock mounting hole as well as an additional reinforcement hole. Drilling one 3/8 in. hole per side is required to complete installation. The coilover kits utilize Viking shocks that are 19-way adjustable in both compression and rebound to ensure the perfect setting for every application. Viking shocks are fully rebuildable. The 2.5 in. diameter coilover springs are available in 14 in. long, 110 lb. spring rate for drag use; 14 in. long, 125 lb. spring rate for street use; and 12 in. long, 150 lb. spring rate for autocross and road race applications. The coilover kits have been tested with 1.5 in. diameter UMI trailing arms, as well as UMI's 22mm sway bar and 32mm drag anti-roll bar. Each kit includes a reinforced upper mount that bolts directly in place (requiring one additional hole to be drilled) and accommodates a true 2 1/2 in. racing coilover with a double-shear mount. It also features FEA-designed reinforced lower brackets that bolt directly over the stock rear lower control arm mounts and utilize the existing lower shock hole(s). UMI's dual tube K-member is known as the strongest in its class—and can withstand wheel stand landings and street abuse while still shaving weight, as well as protecting the oil pan. The rod end upper and lower A-arms reduce friction and unsprung weight while ensuring super-quick weight transfer. These K-members and A-arms are built from strong DOM tubing, precision-bent, CNC-notched and welded in a jig to form a solid base. Upper and lower A-arms are assembled with PTFE-lined race quality rod ends and premium ball joints.
