Trick Flow® DHC™ 175 Cylinder Heads for Small Block Chevrolet
No longer will fans of the small block Chevy have to choose between vintage looks or modern cylinder head power—Trick Flow® DHC™ 175 cylinder heads give you both! Made from premium grade, lightweight A356-T61 aluminum, DHC™ 175 heads feature the exterior styling and straight spark plug holes that deliver the nostalgic appearance of the original factory performance 186, 291,461,462 "double hump" or "camel back" castings that customers want. To keep with the vintage design, the heads are available with 69' later or without 68' earlier accessory bolt holes cast into them. 60cc CNC-profiled combustion chambers combined with a state of the art valve job and CNC blended bowl work under the valves and small cross-section intake runners promote low-rpm torque increases and boost high-rpm horsepower. The runners are finished with Trick Flow's® superior Fast As Cast® process that precisely duplicates the runner profile and performance levels of fully CNC-ported heads without the added machining cost. Ductile iron valve seats for use with unleaded fuel, stainless steel valves, bronze alloy valve guides, multi-angle valve seat machining, and decks and walls cast extra thick for increased casting strength and to provide extra room for porting round out the features. Trick Flow® DHC™ 200 Cylinder Heads for Small Block Chevrolet
Build the ultimate classic-looking hi-po Chevy small block with Trick Flow® DHC™ 200 cylinder heads. Patterned after Trick Flow's popular DHC™ 175 as-cast heads, DHC™ 200 heads get the full CNC-ported treatment to substantially ramp up power production. New 64cc CNC-profiled combustion chambers with 2.055 in. intake valves and CNC Street Ported runners promote big increases in high-RPM horsepower and torque. Bronze alloy valve guides, ductile iron valve seats, and stainless steel valves ensure excellent durability, while proprietary valve profiles and multi-angle valve seat machining maximize flow at low lift. Extra thick decks and walls increase casting strength for peace of mind in demanding conditions. Chromoly steel retainers, 7-degree machined steel valve locks, factory intake and exhaust port locations, and your choice of Trick Flow by PAC Racing valve springs are also standard. As with all Trick Flow® cylinder heads, DHC™ 200 heads are cast from A356-T61 aluminum to keep weight low. Take the 18 degree power leap! Ideal for drag and high-rpm circle track racing, Trick Flow® Ultra 18® 250 cylinder heads make serious horsepower right out of the box. In fact, the heads deliver higher airflow numbers than fully prepped 23 degree small block Chevy heads. These heads feature Trick Flow CNC-profiled combustion chambers and CNC Competition Ported runners with a premium high resolution surface finish for maximum flow and performance. The heads accept most current 18 degree intake manifolds, headers, and other components. They require the use of offset shaft-mounted rocker arms and a mechanical roller camshaft with offset intake lifters. Trick Flow® Super 23® 175 cylinder heads deliver performance that far exceeds the power capabilities of factory heads on 283-350 c.i.d. small block Chevy engines. It starts with the small cross section Fast as Cast® runners. They promote excellent port velocity for increased low end torque and have a profile that provides excellent flow for making high RPM horsepower on small bore engines. Modern CNC-profiled chambers promote combustion efficiency to maximize power with less ignition timing, reducing the potential for detonation. The result is more power and torque, better drivability, and greater throttle response from your street performance engine. The features don't end there. Trick Flow® Super 23® 175 cylinder heads have improved A356-T61 castings with 3/4" thick decks for added strength and durability. They also have a competition multi-angle valve job, angled spark plugs, and raised valve cover rails for improved rocker clearance and less potential for oil leaks. Heads are available assembled with premium components including stainless steel valves, bronze guides, 7° machined locks, chromoly retainers, and your choice of PAC Racing valve springs for flat tappet or hydraulic roller cams. Trick Flow® Super 23® 175 heads accept most original accessories. They are emissions-legal under CARB E.O. #D-747-1 for 1995 and earlier GM vehicles with Chevy 262–350 engines. Based on the proven Super 23® head design, they're packed with power-building features like 215cc intake runners for strong mid- and high-RPM power, angled spark plugs, raised valve cover rails, and extra-thick walls for added durability. But progress never sleeps, so Trick Flow® developed an all-new Super 23® 215 cylinder head design that has a new and improved casting with a thicker 3/4" deck. Trick Flow® also added their top-of-the-line, CNC Competition Ported runner treatment with fully CNC-machined combustion chambers. This premium high-resolution surface finish delivers more airflow so that race-ready engines can reach even higher power numbers. You can get Super 23® 215 heads with one of two valve spring packages for different camshaft types and power levels. The standard 1.545" valve springs are perfect for most hydraulic roller cams. No camshaft swap is complete without a new set of lifters. Treat your engine to the "good stuff" with new Trick Flow® hydraulic lifters or lash adjusters. Featuring durable hardened steel construction, these lifters and adjusters are a must when installing new cams—and are perfect replacements for worn or ticking lifters in used engines. The retro-fit roller lifters with vertical-style link bars are designed for a roller cam conversion in engines originally equipped with a hydraulic flat tappet cam. Overhead valve engines may require different length pushrods. The sets are available in a variety of fitment options for applications from 1955 and up.
