Trail-Gear Classic Front Lift Kits
Trail-Gear Classic front lift kits are designed for first generation 1979-85 factory solid axle Toyota trucks and 4Runners. They include super flexible leaf springs, long-travel shocks, and high-steer crossover steering--all of which combine to bring you up to 20 in. of articulation for serious rock crawling ability. The kits are available in a choice of lifts, and depending on the specific tires and wheels, will accommodate 35 in. to 40 in. tires. Available heavy-duty versions have higher spring rates. Trail-Gear also added a 7th leaf and readjusted the length of the leaves to match. If you are running a larger V6 or a V8, you will appreciate the extra weight-carrying capacity of these springs. Trail-Gear Leaf Spring Perches
Lift kits and taller tires are a necessity when navigating serious off-road trails. Whether you need to make adjustments to pinion angles or tire fitment in the fender wells, Trail-Gear leaf spring perches have you covered. These 1/4 in. steel perches feature the standard center hole, with additional holes drilled 1 in. in front and behind the center to avoid crunching fender well sheet metal. When running longer rear springs for greater flex, you may need to move the axle forward—while larger tires with stock length springs sometimes hit the front, requiring the axle to be moved back. If you're adding a larger lift, it's advised to change the angle of the perches in order to set proper pinion angles. Properly mounted lift kits and taller tires can greatly improve your vehicle's off-road capabilities, but steep driveline angles and tires hitting the edges of fender wells will bring nothing but trouble. These silicone replacements will provide your engine with a one-of-a-kind advantage in performance and style. The kits are dual layered, combining high-grade silicone and heat-resistant embedded fibers—which will provide exceptional and efficient heat reduction and increased pressure tolerance, giving you peace of mind and years of satisfaction. The radiator hose kits are a direct OEM fit. All silicone hoses are 3-ply polyester reinforced construction with a temperature range from -20 to 350 degrees F.
