Tilton 850-Series underfoot pedal assemblies combine the value of their 600-Series with the technology of their 900-Series. The 850-Series assemblies feature a high-efficiency balance bar designed to limit motion to the horizontal plane, reducing friction and brake pressure migration. These metallic racing clutches offer the low moment-of-inertia, high-torque capacity, and reliability necessary to meet the most demanding racing applications. Four diaphragm spring rate options offer you a wide range of torque capacities and release loads to tune the clutch for your application. And the high-mass pressure plate provides additional heat capacity for severe applications. Tilton OT-III heavy-duty metallic racing clutches offer the low moment-of-inertia, high-torque capacity and reliability necessary for the most demanding racing applications. These features have made metallic clutches the most common clutch type used in road racing and Circle Track racing. The included high-ratio pressure plate features short release travel for quick engagement and shifting, as well as a flat clamp load curve for longer wear range. Metallic clutches are not recommended for street use.
