TeraFlex high steer kits are compatible with all factory and aftermarket axle shafts, ball joints, wheel hubs, and tie rods, plus they will not affect operation of factory stability and traction control systems, including ESP and ABS. Zone Rate Tuning manipulates the factory linear-rate spring tuning to produce three distinct performance zones with a more exaggerated spring curve to tackle various driving conditions. An internal negative-rate spring offsets the factory spring's preload while in the Extension Zone. This eliminates top-out clunk and shock stress at full extension, while softening tire landing and reducing body roll on impact during aggressive driving. The factory spring rate is unaffected in Drive Zone for a comfortable and controlled ride. A provided progressive microcellular bump stop effectively retunes the spring rate while in Compression Zone to reduce bottoming and body roll during aggressive driving. Upgrade your Wrangler's rear axle with TeraFlex 8-lug full-float conversion kits! Heavy wheels and oversized tires, high-speed impacts, and low-range twisting and binding can take a toll on the factory-style axle shafts and wheel bearing assemblies. Even an upgraded 35-spline axle conversion shaft is subject to the same limitations. These TeraFlex full-float kits use a 2-wheel bearing design to spread the weight of the vehicle evenly across the forged 4140 chromoly spindles, removing vehicle weight from the axle shaft. Readily available industry standard bearings are oil bathed and require zero maintenance; while all factory sensors are maintained and protected—and OE park brakes, as well as the calipers and pads, are retained. Kits include a 13.5 in. performance rotor and anchor bracket for increased and balanced braking.
