Summit Racing™ hydraulic throwout bearings are designed to fit stock transmission bearing retainers and replace the factory bearing, forks, and linkage to give you a smooth and effortless clutch release. They're intended to work with OE-style clutches that use a flat bearing face. The bearings are great with high performance street/strip style clutches and are universally adaptable to most rear wheel drive manual transmissions—including various Jerico, Muncie, Richmond, and Saginaw models. Summit Racing™ manual transmission safety bellhousings are SFI 6.1 approved bellhousings designed and manufactured to fit most popular vehicles—whether for racing or used to swap engines/transmissions. The Summit Racing™ bellhousings will give you a peace of mind that should a clutch or flywheel failure occur, the damage will be contained within the bellhousing. The Hydroformed process of these components makes for a superior one-piece design, thus, producing a consistent wall thickness and uniform strength throughout the structure to eliminate possible weak welded joints. These bellhousings use certified American made steel, stress relieved, then is shot peened to reach maximum yield strength. Summit Racing™ Replacement Vacuum Actuated Switches
Summit Racing™ vacuum activated switches are conveniently offered as an optional choice for our manual 700R4 hydraulic lockup kit, or as a replacement for the automatic version. The adjustable vacuum switch will hold the clutch on during steady state cruising and disengage when accelerating or downshifting. The switches are factory preset at 13 in. Hg.
