Voltage spikes are generally associated with "noisy" electrical systems from defects such as worn or dirty alternator brushes, corroded or oxidized connections, and similar electrical problems. Summit Racing™ power filters offer a great solution to those issues. These units are for use with Unilite ignition systems, and are designed to absorb electrical spikes from the ignition—thus saving the electric module inside the distributor. They connect between the distributor female connector and distributor wire harness male connector, easily attaching with Velcro®.
