Summit Racing™ Engine Travel Limiters
Summit Racing™ Engine Travel Limiters provide you an affordable complete kit to keep that engine where you mounted it. When using motor plates, the engine may try to move forwards or backwards in the chassis under hard acceleration or braking which could create binding and other problems. These travel limiters bolt to a plate on the engine block and give you a diagonal link to the frame rail that positively locates the engine to keep it from flexing the motor plates. These comes unassembled and include all necessary tabs and hardware. Welding and fabrication skills are required.

Summit has partnered with the new owners of Southside Machine to bring back the classic Southside Machine™ lift bars. These bolt on bars are famous for making a stock rear 4 link suspension hook and launch like an aftermarket 4-link car. The design of these lift bars stiffens the lower the rear lower control arm and lowers the mounting point to relocate the instant center further back in the car. This allows the rear suspension to separate on launch or acceleration and lift the car up which in turn pushes down on or plants the tire. These original-style bars are made with heavy gauge, boxed steel tubing that won't flex or bend, and they're black powdercoated to resist scratches, chips, rusting, and corrosion. Special Delrin bushings (included) help to reduce and eliminate twisting and bushing bind. Installation hardware is included.

Manufactured from the same seamless cross-linked polyethylene outer shell as our full-size counterparts, these NHRA-approved Jr. Dragster fuel cells come with many standard features. They include B-83054 Mil Spec safety foam, a flush mount aircraft-style cap (one-gallon model only), a 1/4 in. vent fitting, a 1/4 in. outlet fitting with petcock, and 360 degree mounting strap recesses (except one-quart models).
