Summit Racing™ Epoxy Primer
Summit Racing™ Epoxy Primer is part of a user-friendly 2-component system, free of lead chromate and isocyanates. This epoxy provides excellent adhesion and corrosion resistance, dries quickly, and maintains good color holdout. It provides an exceptionally strong and durable foundation for complete and/or partial refinishing work. The primer can be applied directly over properly prepared steel, aluminum, factory finishes, fiberglass, body fillers, and other substrates. Unlike most epoxies, our primer won't gum up when sanded after about 2-3 days. It mixes 1:1 with an epoxy catalyst (sold separately), with no induction time needed.

Urethane paints are catalyzed systems, offering a premium finish with exceptional durability that far surpasses enamel-based systems. Manufactured with top-quality raw materials and advanced technology, these paints will never yellow with age. They are designed to be used in a single-stage application or in combination with a urethane clearcoat (except hot rod black) for additional durability and gloss. Summit Racing™ 2.1 VOC 2K high build DTM primer is a 2-component, low-VOC primer that can be applied directly to small areas of bare metal, as well as to OEM finishes, fiberglass, sheet molding compounds, and refinishing lacquers, enamels, and urethanes.
