Summit Racing™ RTV black silicone is a low volatile sealant-adhesive that can be used on metal, glass, wood, ceramics, rubber, and most plastics. As an instant gasket maker, this product replaces a wide range of paper, cork, asbestos, felt, and metal gaskets. It has excellent adhesion characteristics and high chemical resistance; the spray will not sag or shrink, and is even impervious to temperature extremes. RTV black silicone is safe for use on oxygen sensor equipped vehicles; it remains permanently flexible, has a temperature range of -60 degrees F to +500 degrees F, and meets or exceeds mil spec (MIL-A-46106). For best adhesion results, the surface must be clean, dry, and free from oil, tar, dirt, and dust.
