Summit Racing™ Billet Electronic Mopar Distributors

Summit Racing™ billet electronic Mopar distributors convert your old points ignition to a new modern electronic breaker-less system. Available as standalone units or in a complete kit, these distributors offer these benefits: improved timing and dwell control; higher energy at the spark plug for easier starting; improved throttle response; extended RPM range; and better efficiency, along with increased spark plug life. The distributor bodies are CNC-machined from forged 6061-T6 aircraft-grade aluminum and come with a glass fiber reinforced (PBT) tan cap (which is patterned after the OEM dual point cap)—with extra internal voltage dams that help to prevent crossfire while resisting carbon tracking. The shafts are centerless ground and ride on both upper and lower sealed roller bearings for smooth operation at high RPM's and extended service life. Are you looking for a great made-in-the-USA cam for your 5.0L H.O. engine? Pro SBF and 303+ cams start with American bearing steel billets, the cams are precision-machined on a modern Landis CNC grinder with CBN diamond wheels for unmatched quality. Still thinking in terms of LSA and duration splits? These cams are designed on a whole other level by tuning each of the four valve events separately. Having a cam with attitude doesn't mean it has to be a dog at low rpm. We've tuned each of the four valve events to maximize power and torque in the range you will be running in. You CAN have your cake and eat it too. Summit Racing's™ affordable E303 Plus, B303 Plus, and F303 Plus are designed to tune easily and have the idle you're looking for. We've applied the latest lobe technology, and the valve events have been tweaked for modern intake manifolds and cylinder heads. The Pro SBF lineup ranges from a 204-duration daily driver tow cam to a 252 duration 8k rpm barn-burner. They are ground in fine increments to match your specific engine's top-end, displacement and intended rpm range. The lobes are stable to high-rpm and easy on the valvetrain, but we've added lift to take advantage of the high-lift flow of the latest cylinder heads. They are more aggressive with more overlap than their 303+ brothers for more attitude.
