Our Summit Racing™ gear drives are great for you folks who want better timing and a choice of "noisy" or "quiet" operation. Their dual-idler design has CNC-machined components and they are easy to install. Each set comes with a pressed-in Torrington bearing or an SAE 660 bronze thrust washer (varies by application), as well as a cam gear that allows for timing adjustments in two-degree increments. These drives fit under your stock timing cover and come complete with instructions. Minor machining is required on models with the bronze thrust washer.

They're manufactured on CNC machines using CAD-CAM design for perfect balance and alignment, then coated with silver zinc to resist corrosion. These rotors provide you with maximum stopping power, reduced warping, and longer life. The cross-drilled holes and slots provide an exit route for gasses and dust, resulting in better heat dissipation and less brake fade under hard use. Other solid-surface rotors allow gasses to create a cushion between the pad and the brake rotor, resulting in poor brake performance. The cross-drilled holes and slots clear away harmful gasses, restoring full pad-to-rotor contact. These coated rotors are a terrific performance upgrade when replacing your brakes. Summit Racing™ Manufacturing and Engineering harmonic balancer puller and installers feature a roller thrust bearing, a puller plate milled to accept a variety of bolt sizes, and CNC-machined components with a black oxide finish. They come complete with four heat-treated 4140 chromoly installer studs, puller bolts, instructions, and a storage case. The installers include our Summit Racing™ harmonic balancer wrenches to rotate the crankshaft the proper way when turning the engine with the balancer installed. The cold-rolled steel adapter easily attaches to most balancers and comes in handy when assembling an engine or degreeing a cam. These wrenches require a 3/8 in. or 1/2 in. ratchet or breaker bar to rotate the engine.
