This is accomplished by a system of combining a variety of weights and springs in your governor, modifying the vehicle speed signal your transmission's shift valves receive. These kits can greatly improve the peak performance and enhance the drivability of the vehicle. They are very useful for transmission swaps, or if you have a car that is very light or has a low rear gear ratio. These kits also work great for bracket cars retaining an automatic 1-2 shift.
