Summit Racing™ Volt Max X-TREME Spark Plug Wire/Cap and Rotor Kits
Tune-up your entire ignition at once with Summit Racing™ Volt Max X-TREME spark plug wires, cap, and rotor kits. They're made to handle extreme conditions while perfectly matching OEM specs. The ultra-low resistance wire core is wrapped in a high dielectric capacitance jacket to keep voltage directed to the plug, and is protected by a tough silicone outer jacket. Stainless steel terminals (solid brass for Ford D.I.S. applications) with hardened, positive snap-locks ensure a permanent connection, and the silicone boots can handle up to 450 degrees F of heat. The wire sets include dielectric grease to seal terminals and boots, plus wire separators (a must if your OEM wire are 7mm). Select the tune-up kit designed for your vehicle.

Summit Racing™ Digital RTR Plus Billet Distributors
We've taken our original Ready-to-Run billet distributors and upped the ante with our Summit Racing™ Digital RTR (Ready-to-Run) Plus billet distributors. They now feature a digital module with a 7.5 amp rated dwell control circuit for maximum energy output. They deliver 400 volts and 125mJ of spark energy to the coil and upwards of 50,000 volts from the coil to the spark plugs. We've also added a single-stage rev limiter with a simple "tap to ground" process of the tachometer lead attached to the module to set the limiter. The tachometer dual purpose lead also produces a 25 percent duty cycle, square wave signal, so it can be used with multifunction tachometers and most popular aftermarket EFI systems. Another bonus feature of our digital technology is a fully automatic start retard. This built-in feature provides 4 degrees of timing retard during cranking and is fully dialed out by 300 rpm. This gives you easier and quicker hot restarts while lowering the initial start load on the starter and electrical system. With all these upgraded features, you're assured of peak output throughout all RPM ranges, quicker hot starts, EFI capability and the reliability of digital technology. The distributors still have the same lightweight, forged, precision CNC-machined aluminum housing for strength and stability; polished steel shafts with sealed ball bearings for stable operation through 10,000 rpm; and a maintenance-free, high-output magnetic trigger for accurate and reliable performance. All distributors come with a high-quality, 30 percent glass-filled PBT cap and rotor with brass terminals and contacts. An ignition box is not required for use with Summit Racing™ Digital RTR Plus billet distributors except when used with an aftermarket EFI system. Summit Racing™ billet electronic Mopar distributors convert your old points ignition to a new modern electronic breaker-less system. These distributors offer these benefits: improved timing and dwell control; higher energy at the spark plug for easier starting; improved throttle response; extended RPM range; and better efficiency, along with increased spark plug life. The distributor bodies are CNC-machined from forged 6061-T6 aircraft-grade aluminum and come with a glass fiber reinforced (PBT) tan cap (which is patterned after the OEM dual point cap)—with extra internal voltage dams that help to prevent crossfire while resisting carbon tracking. The shafts are centerless ground and ride on both upper and lower sealed roller bearings for smooth operation at high RPM's and extended service life.
