We've taken our original Ready-to-Run billet distributors and upped the ante with our Summit Racing™ Digital RTR (Ready-to-Run) Plus billet distributors. They now feature a digital module with a 7.5 amp rated dwell control circuit for maximum energy output. They deliver 400 volts and 125mJ of spark energy to the coil and upwards of 50,000 volts from the coil to the spark plugs. We've also added a single-stage rev limiter with a simple "tap to ground" process of the tachometer lead attached to the module to set the limiter. The tachometer dual purpose lead also produces a 25 percent duty cycle, square wave signal, so it can be used with multifunction tachometers and most popular aftermarket EFI systems. Another bonus feature of our digital technology is a fully automatic start retard. This built-in feature provides 4 degrees of timing retard during cranking and is fully dialed out by 300 rpm. This gives you easier and quicker hot restarts while lowering the initial start load on the starter and electrical system. With all these upgraded features, you're assured of peak output throughout all RPM ranges, quicker hot starts, EFI capability and the reliability of digital technology. The distributors still have the same lightweight, forged, precision CNC-machined aluminum housing for strength and stability; polished steel shafts with sealed ball bearings for stable operation through 10,000 rpm; and a maintenance-free, high-output magnetic trigger for accurate and reliable performance. All distributors come with a high-quality, 30 percent glass-filled PBT cap and rotor with brass terminals and contacts.
