The adjustable vacuum switch will hold the clutch on during steady state cruising and disengage when accelerating or downshifting. The switches are factory preset at 13 in. Hg.

Summit Racing™ truck headers can give you up to 15 extra horsepower and significant torque increases in the 1,500-3,500 rpm range. They feature mild steel or stainless steel tubing with extra-thick 3/8 in. flanges for longer service life. Plus, we include all the gaskets and hardware needed to make installation as easy as possible. Unless otherwise noted, these headers are designed to fit the vehicle as it came from the manufacturer. This includes components like cylinder heads, chassis, steering, motor mounts, body mounts and bushings, etc. If your vehicle is using aftermarket components, parts from other applications, or custom altered parts, then it is the installer's responsibility to verify fitment. Special warning regarding Summit Racing™ painted headers only. The paint on these headers is not designed as a final finish; it is designed to protect the headers after the manufacturing process and during shipping. This paint will not withstand the high heat associated with engine break-in, nor will it withstand the heat cycles associated with any type of driving. It is recommended that this protective coating be stripped, and a high heat paint or coating designed for use on headers be applied.

Summit Racing™ Volcano Starter Heat Shield Wraps have crushed lava rock filament fibers that make the wraps stronger and more flexible, while operating at maximum service temperatures of 1,800 degrees F continuous and 2,500 degrees F intermittent radiant heat. Volcano products have a custom carbon fiber look. Starter shields are sewn together with Kevlar© / stainless steel thread. They contain a layer of Volcano Fiber in addition to aluminized/fiberglass material. The two layers of insulating material add to the thermal protection of the product.
