Stromberg Superseat brass hose fittings boast many small, but important design features aimed to ensure superior style and high performance for your vehicle. After all, you wouldn't settle for anything less! These 5/16 in. hose fittings have the correct 18 degree seat. Their hex part is kept short for good looks, and so is their thread length. Stromberg Ford nut compression fittings are available in a handy pack of three, complete with the brass ferrules. They fit the new Stromberg S-jet and the original needle and seat. Installation is easy and there is no need to flare the hard line end. Just slip the Ford nut over the end, add the ferrule, and then push the pipe firmly into the 97 inlet fitting and tighten the nut, while compressing the ferrule to form a good fuel-tight joint. Ford nuts also fit most Ford flathead fuel pumps, except the 1951-53 1BA glass bowl pump, which uses 1/8 in. NPT fittings.

Stromberg BIG97 carburetors feature 55 percent increased airflow to put out a whopping 250 cfm! They have the same standard 97 outside shape, but use enlarged 1.175 in. venturi with a super-efficient 20 degree entry angle. The accelerator pump discharge jets are smaller, and flared exit cones build power by slowing down the mixture to reduce turbulence into the manifold plenum. The result is 250 cfm.
