Strange lightweight door car drag racing steering racks are manufactured using only heat-treated, high-strength hardened steel and aircraft grade billet aluminum, resulting in a silky-smooth turning radius and almost zero backlash. Available with either 19 1/2 in. or 24 1/2 in. tie rod centers, they feature hardened 4140 chromoly pinions that ride on a system of ball-bearings, delivering a seamless feel in the driver's hand with the confidence of durability and longevity. The steering box housing is CNC-machined from 6061 T-6511 billet aluminum for lightweight with extreme strength.
