Strange Driveshaft Speed Sensor Kits

Strange Engineering driveshaft speed sensor kits are high-resolution data collection systems designed to track driveshaft rotation speed and feed accurate data into electronic fuel injection (EFI) or data acquisition systems. They are widely used by drag racers and high-powered street/strip vehicle builders to monitor traction, slip, and vehicle speed. * Core components: -- 40-tooth trigger wheel: Offers high-resolution feedback compared to traditional low-tooth count magnetic collars, producing smooth, easy-to-read graphs in data logs -- Hall-effect sensor: A high-precision, zero-speed design featuring a stainless steel 3/8 in.-24 threaded body that operates from 0 to 15 kHz and requires a 4.5-26 V DC supply voltage -- Mounting hardware: Includes corrosion-resistant brackets, adjustment washers, and a Deutsch DTM plug connection * Available applications: Strange Engineering designs these kits to fit popular performance and racing rear-end setups, including… -- Ford 9 in. (with various pinion supports like standard, HD Pro Case, and Ultra Case using 28 or 35-spline yokes) -- Ford 8.8, Chevy 12-bolt, and Dana 60 / S60 (utilizing compatible Strange chromoly yokes)
