Steeda S197 Mustang Stage 3 Drag Pack puts the finishing touches on your drag race suspension. With the Steeda's Stage 1 and 2 packs (not included), you take complete control over the rear end. Now it's time address front end weight transfer and chassis roll for straight launches every time. The Stage 3 Drag Packs come with adjustable front coilovers to allow you to adjust front suspension height and strut valving for optimum weight transfer to the rear tires. High-quality adjustable struts and 162 lb. coilover over springs are also included. With rear traction and front-end weight transfer you need to control body roll to make sure the weight on the back tires is as even as possible for the most traction. That is where the Steeda anti-roll bar shines! Unlike competitors that feature urethane bushings that deflect and clamped on ends with heavy steel brackets that weight a lot and can move, Steeda's doesn't. Their S197 anti-roll bar features industry exclusive billet ends, full roller bearings, chromoly support brace and super strong tig welded ends with adjustable endlinks. Steeda's adjustable suspension systems are designed for maximum performance. They include Tokico D-spec struts and shocks, which feature infinite simultaneous adjustment of compression and rebound. The front coilover systems are designed with their exclusive upper strut mount kit, eliminating the weak factory upper spring perch, which is prone to "popping" with increased spring rates, and provides +/- 1 degree of camber adjustment not available with the factory mount. The rear system features ride height adjusters for the rear of vehicles which accept a coilover-style spring. Two complete kits are available, depending on whether you have Steeda's current strut mount kit, which only requires replacing the upper spring cup, or you have the factory strut mount, which requires Steeda's complete new upper strut mount kit. Kits are manufactured from billet aluminum and feature anodized parts for long-lasting protection against oxidation and roller bearings to make adjustments a snap. They are fully adjustable with a wide range of spring rates available.

Steeda designed these brake kits utilizing the lightest materials, resulting in less unsprung weight and rotating mass. The wider, larger diameter vented rotors provide better cooling and are slotted to disperse heat and gas buildup, reducing brake fade. These Steeda kits retain the excellent Ford factory caliper, maintaining the proper piston size for compatibility with the sensitive Mustang antilock brake system and allowing for the easy sourcing of replacement brake pads and friction compounds. The adjustable spring seat allows you to raise or lower the rear of your Mustang by up to 1 in. with just the turn of a standard 1/2 in. ratchet. Steeda S197 Ford Mustang Stage 1 Drag Packs start with a good foundation and control of the rear axle assembly. Added to that is Steeda's industry-first billet lower control arms, made in-house, so they're not your typical control arms with urethane bushings—these bad boys were designed with the 1320 in mind. Solid Delrin© bushings at the chassis end provide a solid mount with virtually no deflection under acceleration. At the axle end, you'll find a high-quality stainless steel custom spec'd PTFE line bearing with lightweight aluminum 6061 sleeves. To address the upper control arm and mount, an HD multi-hole upper control arm mount and adjustable upper are also provided. This combination lets you dial in pinion angle, while enabling you to also adjust your instant center for consistent launches and reduced 60 ft. times. The mount is of thicker gauge material than the factory mount, and the double adjustable upper features a large PTFE lined rod end for the ultimate in strength and reduced deflection under hard launches. The double adjustable design allows for easy and quick on-car adjustments.
