When you push your Cobra to the limit in the corners, you may be applying enough force to twist the differential cover beyond its ability to flex. Repeatedly doing this causes the metal in the differential cover to separate, leaving you stranded. Steeda has come up with a solution to fix this problem. By attaching one of these Steeda differential braces, you will be adding strength and peace of mind to your differential cover. Steeda designed these cover braces with a hole to allow you to access the oil fill plug without having to remove the braces.

Steeda Rear Adjustable Camber Arms

If you've lowered your Mustang and are looking to dial in precise suspension settings for track day or daily spirited driving, Steeda has a solution. Factory stock camber arms are made to withstand lots of force, but their bushings are soft which leads to deflection under hard cornering, causing wheel and tire to lean outward and lose camber, resulting in grip reduction and less predictable handling. Steeda rear adjustable camber arms have been perfected through the strength of aerospace grade 6061 aluminum construction and spherical nylon-lined bearings made with specific preloads imparted on the bearings, ensuring the lowest amount of bind on the bearing as possible. The bushing design prevents dirt from penetrating the bearings, ensures rod ends will not to be replaced, and gets rid of deflection so you can maintain proper camber during hard cornering for a more responsive and predictable handling car. Steeda rear camber arms are also adjustable from +2 degrees to -5 degrees camber--more than enough adjustability for any street or race setup.

Steeda S197 Ford Mustang Stage 2 Drag Packs

Steeda's Stage 2 Drag Pack for the Ford S197 Mustang puts even more control into the rear axle assembly with some added durability and tuning capabilities. The spherical upper axle control arm bearing adds the final piece to the puzzle for the ultimate in axle control. A stainless steel, custom spec'd, PTFE lined bearing is what you'll find in the billet steel bearing housing machined in-house. Weld-in lower control relocation brackets are included to let you adjust how hard you hit the back tires. Unlike competitors' brackets, which have failed countless times, Steeda's are weld-in only to provide the most strength possible. When used in combination with the Stage 1 (not included), you'll have the ability to adjust mounting locations for the upper and lower control arm adding tune-ability to your rear suspension. The added sidewall allows tires to absorb the shock of the launch much better, resulting in quicker 60 fts. and ET's. Steeda's sway bar relocation bracket enables you to run 15 in. wheels and tires on the back of your S197. Lastly, with all the added traction and compliance in the rear suspension, you want to limit chassis deflection. This is where Steeda's exclusive chromoly 3-point lower torque box and frame rail brace come into play, tying together the inner and the outer frame rails, along with the lower torque boxes. Steeda Weight Jackers Lower Control Arms

Steeda 2005-09 Ford Mustang Adjustable Suspension Systems

Steeda's adjustable suspension systems are designed for maximum performance. They include Tokico D-spec struts and shocks, which feature infinite simultaneous adjustment of compression and rebound. The front coilover systems are designed with their exclusive upper strut mount kit, eliminating the weak factory upper spring perch, which is prone to "popping" with increased spring rates, and provides +/- 1 degree of camber adjustment not available with the factory mount. The rear system features ride height adjusters for the rear of vehicles which accept a coilover-style spring. Two complete kits are available, depending on whether you have Steeda's current strut mount kit, which only requires replacing the upper spring cup, or you have the factory strut mount, which requires Steeda's complete new upper strut mount kit. Kits are manufactured from billet aluminum and feature anodized parts for long-lasting protection against oxidation and roller bearings to make adjustments a snap. They are fully adjustable with a wide range of spring rates available.
