Steeda S197 Ford Mustang Stage 2 Drag Packs
Steeda's Stage 2 Drag Pack for the Ford S197 Mustang puts even more control into the rear axle assembly with some added durability and tuning capabilities. The spherical upper axle control arm bearing adds the final piece to the puzzle for the ultimate in axle control. A stainless steel, custom spec'd, PTFE lined bearing is what you'll find in the billet steel bearing housing machined in-house. Weld-in lower control relocation brackets are included to let you adjust how hard you hit the back tires. Unlike competitors' brackets, which have failed countless times, Steeda's are weld-in only to provide the most strength possible. When used in combination with the Stage 1 (not included), you'll have the ability to adjust mounting locations for the upper and lower control arm adding tune-ability to your rear suspension. The added sidewall allows tires to absorb the shock of the launch much better, resulting in quicker 60 fts. and ET's. Steeda's sway bar relocation bracket enables you to run 15 in. wheels and tires on the back of your S197. Lastly, with all the added traction and compliance in the rear suspension, you want to limit chassis deflection. This is where Steeda's exclusive chromoly 3-point lower torque box and frame rail brace come into play, tying together the inner and the outer frame rails, along with the lower torque boxes. Steeda S197 Mustang Stage 3 Drag Pack puts the finishing touches on your drag race suspension. With the Steeda's Stage 1 and 2 packs (not included), you take complete control over the rear end. Now it's time address front end weight transfer and chassis roll for straight launches every time. The Stage 3 Drag Packs come with adjustable front coilovers to allow you to adjust front suspension height and strut valving for optimum weight transfer to the rear tires. High-quality adjustable struts and 162 lb. coilover over springs are also included. With rear traction and front-end weight transfer you need to control body roll to make sure the weight on the back tires is as even as possible for the most traction. That is where the Steeda anti-roll bar shines! Unlike competitors that feature urethane bushings that deflect and clamped on ends with heavy steel brackets that weight a lot and can move, Steeda's doesn't. Their S197 anti-roll bar features industry exclusive billet ends, full roller bearings, chromoly support brace and super strong tig welded ends with adjustable endlinks. These Stage 3 Drag Packs will provide launches that are perfectly flat every single time equaling to lower 60 ft., along with quicker ET's—sure to bring a big smile to your face, as you grin from ear to ear.
