They greatly reduce the chance of slip yoke failure by maintaining proper engagement. These parts were developed by Steeda Hardcore for the Renegade Mustang to fit a C4 transmission. Steeda manufactures these spacers from billet aluminum for a lower rotational mass and they are anodized for a long-lasting finish. Replace that weak plastic clutch quadrant with Steeda's super-strong billet aluminum quick-release quadrants. The strong, flex-free billet quadrant design stands up to the hardest shifts. Steeda's billet clutch quadrants feature a fast-acting pedal ratio or steeper ramp to pull the clutch cable faster for quicker clutch release and reduced pedal travel. The increased pedal ratio also increases your pedal effort slightly, but the clutch releases more quickly, so the shift is over more quickly and you will not notice the increased effort.
