Steck I-Bolt universal tow eyes allow towers, body shop technicians, and mechanics to safely load disabled foreign and some domestic vehicles on roll-back wreckers and frame racks without causing damage. Simply insert the I-Bolt into the threaded hole, ideally behind the nut or the back of the hole; then turn the loop clockwise until the gripping teeth engage behind the nut or in the threaded hole. I-Bolts are able to fit threaded holes with diameters of 1/2 in. to 1 1/4 in. Also included is a 6 in. x 2 in. polyester safety strap, with a 4 in. looped end to wrap around the control arm or sway bar; and a 3 1/2 in. steel flat snap hook that attaches the I-Bolt to positively secure the vehicle.
