Sonnax Converter Limit Valve Kits

Sonnax converter limit valve kits can help minimize the need for costly transmission repairs down the line. These kits help prevent torque converter damage by limiting the amount of pressure applied to it during lockup, essentially safeguarding against "ballooning" or deformation of the converter, especially in performance vehicles with high line pressures, while maintaining proper transmission function without affecting drivability. This is achieved by precisely controlling the pressure applied to the torque converter clutch (TCC) apply circuit through a specialized valve design. Most converter limit valve kits are designed as "drop-in" replacements, allowing for a relatively simple installation process during transmission rebuilds. Sonnax Accumulator Sleeve Kits

Sonnax accumulator sleeve kits allow transmission cases to be salvaged. Worn or scored accumulator bores in the case can cause a laundry list of problems, from slipping shifts to a destroyed case. Sonnax Hydraulic Line Pressure Booster Kits

Sonnax hydraulic line pressure booster kits contain stronger pressure regulator springs and large ratio boost valves designed to work together, providing progressive pressure increases as driving conditions become more demanding. Their springs are approximately 10 percent stronger than OEM and more conservative in impact than other aftermarket kit springs. Large ratio boost valves provide higher pressure incrementally and when it's needed the most. The combination of these springs and valves in the Sonnax hydraulic line pressure booster kits gives you the best of both worlds--a modest pressure increase at the low-end, with a high-end pressure that's equal to or greater than that of other aftermarket kit springs.
