When standard OE pins just won't do, use Sonnax extra-long Servo pin and seal kits to get the job done right! The Sonnax 4L60/4L60-E servo pin is longer than the longest OE pin. The pins extra length simplifies adjustment, eliminating the need for having to add length to the pin, itself. The Servo pins are made from chromoly steel, so they're durable for high performance applications as well as stock replacement. Dual PTFE seals have been added to improve sealing in the case bore and as well as an O-ring to improve sealing between pin and the 2nd gear Servo. Sonnax servo release check valve kits are unique solutions. Since the GM 4L60 (700-R4) and 4L60-E Series transmissions were introduced, they have had inadequate metering of 2nd gear band servo release oil resulting in 3-4 clutch pack failure. The 3-4 clutch pack and 2nd gear band are just not properly synchronized. Sonnax hydraulic line pressure booster kits contain stronger pressure regulator springs and large ratio boost valves designed to work together, providing progressive pressure increases as driving conditions become more demanding. Their springs are approximately 10 percent stronger than OEM and more conservative in impact than other aftermarket kit springs. Large ratio boost valves provide higher pressure incrementally and when it's needed the most. Stripped bellhousing bolts? The cause is usually the loose fit of standard Torx bits, which damage the bellhousing bolts during removal or installation of the bolts. The solution to this problem is Sonnax Torx Plus bits. Specially designed for removing 4L60E bellhousing bolts, Sonnax bits have a tighter fit with the drive head of the bolt, helping to avoid rounding out the bolt head or the bit, and prevent the bit from walking out of the bolt head. Also, these Sonnax tools permit higher torque loads to be applied, which are often needed to remove extra-tight bolts.

Continuous oscillation in relay valve and sequence valve bore causes wear that prevents proper hydraulic control. You can recover hydraulic control and renew 2nd and 4th gear operation by reconditioning the entire bore and installing a Sonnax oversized 4-3 sequence valve kit. These kits address wear on the inboard two spools that is increasingly more common in aging valve bodies. Wearing at these spools can allow valuable 4th servo feed leakage, resulting in no 4th and 2-4 band wear, and can also allow leakage of 2nd clutch oil needed to apply the 2-4 band in 2nd gear, resulting in poor 2nd gear shifts. Leaking at the OE end plug also allows oil loss that can leave 4th gear inoperable. Sonnax oversized 4-3 sequence valve kits feature hardcoat anodized aluminum valves to combat premature wear and O-ringed end plugs to help prevent 4th gear oil loss.
