Sonnax Valve Body Separator Plates

Sonnax valve body separator plates are offered for several applications. The OE-quality plates incorporate a black silicon sealant bead to bond upper and lower valve body sections together, once rebuild is complete. Note: Sonnax plates are not specific by transmission model, but rather by valve body code and the stamped number. Sonnax Billet Accumulator Pistons

Sonnax billet accumulator pistons feature a stronger piston made from anodized billet aluminum with a dual-seal design. OEM plastic accumulators are prone to breaking and have poor sealing qualities and the metal rings currently offered with aftermarket accumulators also have issues with sealing. Sonnax piston's seals prevent piston-to-bore contact and the D-rings vastly improve sealing compared to aftermarket steel rings.

Sonnax Lube Regulated Pressure Regulator Valves

The OE pressure regulator valve design prevents adequate cooler flow at low rpm and high-pressure conditions, which can create overheating. Additionally, in 1999 and later vehicles, the factory EPC pressure was set high at idle, resulting in engine surge conditions in GM 4L80-E and 4L85-E units. Sonnax TCC Regulator and Isolator Valve Kits

Sonnax TCC regulator and isolator valve kits assist in recovering hydraulic control and renew TCC performance. Severe wear of the TCC (torque convertor clutch) regulator valve bore, caused by oscillation of the OE valve, allows the regulated converter to apply pressure to your exhaust. This is a primary cause for TCC-related slip code and overheated converters. Exhaust pressure also diminishes line pressure, which can result in burnt clutches. Excess wear at the isolator valve bore reduces TCC apply pressure.
