Sonnax clutch hub shims allow hub end play adjustment with a mix of various forward clutch components. These 3-shim sets permit you to limit hub end play, which is beneficial when optimizing the high clutch pack stack-up. The Sonnax shims fit between your small wear plate and drum to lift the hub out of the drum--reducing end play between the hub and sun gear flange, while maximizing clutch tooth engagement with the hub splines. This prevents the rear clutch friction disc from dropping off the clutch hub. Reduce and control end play with Sonnax clutch hub shims.

Noticing some forward slip and/or delayed engagement with your GM automatic transmission? Sonnax accumulator pistons are direct replacements for OE plastic pistons and restore sealing integrity at the pin bore. The aforementioned issues, as well as burnt clutches and bands can be caused by loss of fluid. Deterioration at older aluminum piston pin bores due to repeated reciprocation and/or cracks in plastic accumulator pistons may be the cause. Avoid a costly valve body replacement by ordering a Sonnax accumulator piston.
