Samlex Automatic Charge Isolators are specialized battery isolators that protect both the batteries and the load connected to them. They are normally used to isolate a starting battery and a reserve battery. However, if the voltage from the power source rises, driving the battery voltage high, the load and the utility battery will be disconnected from the excessive voltage. Rated at 160A, these charge isolators may be set up as a high-power switch, a starting battery assistant, a voltage dependent switch, and other uses.
