S&S Cycle stealth air cleaner kits are for the rider who wants to go fast. The backing plate has a smooth radius entry to the throttle body or carburetor. The air filter is made of cotton gauze and is reusable and washable and it also features an air directional stinger cone that creates a smooth path for air to go into the intake. These kits are available with your choice of different S&S covers. These kits can be ordered without the cover so you can use your stock air cleaner cover if you want that sneaky concealed look. S&S Cycle offers air horns for use with their A, B, E, G, and L Series carburetors. Crafted from aluminum with a natural finish, the velocity stacks are available in 2.5 in. and 4 in. heights. S&S recommends that air horns be used in racing applications only, as they do not provide the filtration required to protect the engine on a day-to-day basis. Any installation of an air horn on an S&S carb in place of an air cleaner requires an S&S carb support bracket (P/N 16-0471) to securely fasten the carb to the engine. S&S also recommends that the bowl vent plug at the bottom of the carb body be removed when your air horn is installed, as the air horn may obstruct the bowl vent in the air cleaner mounting surface of the carb body.
