They also offer a 2 in. drop—which allows for the use of longer shocks, creating more suspension travel. Compatible with all brake kits designed to fit the stock disc brake spindle. * Optional "hub" spindles offer the same geometry improvements as the pin spindle but add the performance and simplicity of late model Corvette hubs and brakes. Uses C5/C6/C7 Corvette hubs for maximum strength, consistent braking and reduced maintenance. (Hubs not included.) Compatible with C5/C6 Corvette brake systems, OE and aftermarket (caliper brackets included). Minimum 17 in. wheels. * Upper Strongarms feature corrected ball joint angles for the tall spindles. The upper ball joints have been moved back to allow additional caster settings to improve high-speed stability and steering feel. Offset slugs are also available for additional caster. Injection-molded Delrin© bushings with 13 percent PTFE reduce deflection and stiction. * Lower Strongarms feature a double sheer lower mount for increased strength. Ridetech has also dropped the lower shock mount to increase suspension travel and moved the lower ball joint forward to increase caster settings while keeping the wheel centered in the wheel opening. Injection-molded Delrin© bushings with 13 percent PTFE are used to reduce deflection and stiction. * HQ Series coilovers utilize an impact-forged aluminum body and monotube design to deliver excellent ride quality and handling. Includes billet aluminum frame straps (anodized black) and low friction bushings. * Bolt-on 4-link dramatically improves traction, handling, and ride quality. Installation does not require significant modifications to the floor pan and requires only minimal welding to the axle tube. Works with mini-tubs. All links are double adjustable with R-joint rod ends, which combine the best qualities of low friction movement, lateral stability, full range articulation, and quiet operation into one special street/strip bearing. Upgrades: * Tru-Turn System: The early Camaro/Nova front-ends have very poor suspension geometry; the tires lean outward around turns, the bump steer is terrible, and there's little room to run a wide wheel because of the OEM steering arm interference with the inside of the wheel. The Tru-Turn system resolves ALL these issues; the tires now lean INTO the turn, the bump steer is UNDER .050 in. through 5 in. of suspension travel, and you now have clearance to run up to a 10 in. wide wheel with a 275mm tire! Compatible with both the Ridetech "pin" and "hub" spindles. * Rear sway bar: The addition of the rear sway bar is for the true track car. Wide tires plus big horsepower typically mean faster corner speeds. The MUSCLEBar sway bar helps keep those rear tires hooked up through the corner. * Weld-on lower axle brackets are available for aftermarket axle housing without stock-style leaf spring pads. Part number 70010122 is sold separately.

Ridetech MOMENTUM Chassis Kits
Ridetech, a leader in air and coil-over suspension systems for more than 30 years, proudly announces the launch of its MOMENTUM chassis kits. This all-new platform gives classic muscle car enthusiasts a clean-slate foundation for their next project—delivering modern handling, increased performance, and design flexibility beyond the limits of factory frames. Builders can now enjoy the benefits of a fully engineered chassis while tailoring the suspension to their preferred style of driving, whether that's comfortable street cruising, high-performance autocross, or full track use. Key engineering highlights include: * Ridetech's MOMENTUM Chassis Series is a new platform for classic muscle cars, offering modern handling, optimized suspension, and modular options, initially for 1968-1972 models * Optimized suspension geometry—the chassis re-engineers pickup points to improve camber gain, caster, roll center, and Ackermann steering geometry * Enhanced stability—the chassis is significantly stiffer than a stock frame, which reduces flex and increases structural rigidity for more predictable handling * Improved cornering—a new integrated sway bar helps reduce body roll and improve balance, leading to sharper cornering and greater stability * Confidence-inspiring control—the design provides improved handling for both daily driving and more demanding situations like autocross or track events * Increased tire and wheel clearance—the chassis is engineered to accommodate larger, modern wheel and tire sizes that would not fit on a factory chassis * More aggressive fitment—allows for wider tires (e.g., up to 275mm front and 295mm rear) with room for larger fitments, especially when combined with mini tubs in the rear * Adjustable ride height—the system allows for roughly a 2-inch drop from stock but can be adjusted to the desired ride height * Kit offers modular suspension options that allow for air or coilover setups * Chassis is compatible with existing Ridetech A-body suspension components * Engine and transmission flexibility provides provisions for various motor mount plates (small block Chevy, Olds, Pontiac, Buick, GMLS, or Gen 5 LT) and features an adjustable crossmember that adapts to popular automatic and manual transmissions

Ridetech 1979-93 Mustang SLA Front Suspension Systems
Ridetech 1979-93 Mustang bolt-in SLA (Short-Long-Arm) front suspension systems replace the stock McPherson strut design with a billet aluminum upper control arm, tubular lower arm and spindles with S550 Mustang hubs. The factory strut design offers very little camber gain and poor overall geometry. This design greatly improves negative camber gain, which positions the tire perpendicular to the pavement through the corners without the need for excessive static camber and overly stiff spring rates. Caster, roll center and Ackerman angles were also optimized. These suspension systems are compatible with either Ridetech coilovers or Shockwave air suspension (sold separately). SLA front suspension systems are available in two fitment styles: * To fit STOCK K-Members (except 84-86 SVO) * To fit many AFTERMARKET K-Members, including Maximum Motorsports, Team Z, AJE and UPR Additional product features: * Incorporates an upper control arm to induce much-needed negative camber gain * Caster, roll center, bump steer and Ackerman angles are optimized * Bolt-in frame surrounds create attachment points for the upper control arms and the shocks. This keeps the load on the frame rails for maximum strength and reduced NVH * Upper and lower arms feature Delrin© bushings infused with PTFE to minimize stiction and eliminate the need for lubrication * Spindles include Moog S550 Mustang rear hubs for maximum strength, consistent braking and reduced maintenance * Lower control arm design improves tire clearance and steering angle 30 degrees with up to a 275mm wide tire Fitment: * Uses S550 (15-23) or SN95 (94-04) Mustang brake systems (caliper brackets sold separately) * 17 in. minimum wheel diameter * Compatible with stock and most aftermarket sway bars Specifications: * Negative camber gain: 1.25 degrees/in. * Positive caster: 7-9 degrees * Bump steer: under .050 in. * Lowers ride height: 1-2 in. * 50 lbs. lighter than stock suspension * Stock track width
