Ridetech Ridepro Plunger Assemblies

As things go with any product that has moving parts, those parts will eventually start to wear out. Ridetech Ridepro plunger assemblies are used to service Ridetech solenoid air valves. Replacement plungers are available for Ridepro silver round coils, Ridepro square black coils, and Big Red valves. Replacement is required when the plunger tip has deformed from use and can no longer hold its proper form, leading to a sealing problem. Sometimes, the valve may not be leaking, but it is not opening. Usually, the plunger is "sticking" to the sealing surface because the coil doesn't have enough power to pull the valve out of its seat. Here again, replacement of the plunger assembly is in order.

Ridetech offers HQ air suspension systems for 1967-69 Camaro and Firebird (GM F-Body) applications. These Air Ride adjustable suspensions enable you to raise or lower your muscle car at the push of a button. The systems include front and rear HQ Series Shockwaves with adjustable rebound, plus upper and lower Strongarm front control arms, tall spindles, a bolt-on 4-link, and a front MUSCLEBar sway bar. Air Ride provides ultra-low show stance with modern ride quality and handling—and includes several components that will dramatically improve the suspension geometry to give your classic muscle car modern drivability. Systems are available with "pin" or "hub" spindles. Product features: * Tall "pin" spindles will induce more negative camber gain to maximize tire contact patch during cornering. They also offer a 2 in. drop—which allows for the use of longer shocks, creating more suspension travel. Compatible with all brake kits designed to fit the stock disc brake spindle. * OR … "hub" spindles offer the same geometry improvements as the pin spindle but add the performance and simplicity of late-model Corvette hubs and brakes. Upgrades: * Early Camaro/Nova front-ends have very poor suspension geometry—the tires lean outward around turns, the bump steer is bad, and there's little room to run a wide wheel because of the OEM steering arm interference with the inside of the wheel. The Tru-Turn System resolves ALL these issues; the tires now lean INTO the turn, the bump steer is UNDER .050 in. through 5 in. of suspension travel, and you now have clearance to run up to a 10 in. wide wheel with a 275mm tire! Compatible with both the Ridetech "pin" and "hub" spindles. * The addition of the rear sway bar is for the true track car. Wide tires plus big horsepower typically means faster corner speeds.
